Feed roller
The feed rollers are hardened, tempered and have a strength of 900 - 1300 N/mm², which results in a surface hardness of 60-64 HRC. The material used is case-hardened steel, which determines the strength depending on the diameter.
The surface is ground, chrome-plated (topochrome) and has a roughness of approx. 17 μm. The roller bearing is located outside the trigger area.
All rollers are driven. The upper roller is mechanically held parallel to the lower roller.
Gearbox
The gearbox has a single-stage design and distributes the drive force evenly to all rollers. All gears are case-hardened and completely ground. They also run in roller bearings. The gearbox is grease-lubricated
Drive
The drive is provided by a maintenance-free three-phase servo motor.
Strip thickness adjustment
An automatic strip thickness adjustment ensures that the intermediate gap remains constant for every strip thickness. Pressure, ventilation, and intermediate ventilation are controlled hydraulically.
The pressure can be adjusted using a pressure reducer, and the intermediate gap is adjusted manually using an adjusting screw.
Strip side guide
The strip side guide positioned directly in front of the feed serves to align the strip centrally and bring it into a horizontal position. This is achieved by means of hardened horizontal and vertical guide rollers.
Adjustment is carried out manually via an adjusting spindle with hand wheel and is displayed digitally. An off-center adjustment of ±50 mm is integrated into the side guide.
Mounting bracke
The feed is mounted on an extension bracket equipped with slotted holes. These allow height adjustment of +/- 50 mm.
Mounting plate
The mounting bracket can be adjusted manually on a mounting plate using a jack. The adjustment dimension is approx. 100 mm. The screw-on bracket is guided on the screw-on plate by a keyway.
Motorized height adjustment
The screw angle is guided on the screw plate by precise linear guides, eliminating the need for additional clamping.
Height adjustment is achieved by means of a gear motor.
Roller suppor
Top and bottom supports prevent the rollers from bending.
Backstop
A mechanical backstop holds the material strip securely when the control is switched off.
Measuring wheel assembly
A measuring wheel assembly is installed for additional position monitoring.
Digital contact pressure control
The roller contact pressure can be infinitely adjusted via the proportional pressure control valve.
It is entered on the control panel and can be saved for specific tools.
Setup flap
A mechanical safety flap separates the press chamber from the conveyor system.
This allows the press to be set up independently of the conveyor system.
The set-up time is also reduced, as the conveyor system can be operated at transfer speeds greater than 2 m/min when the flap is closed.
Bracket for strip lubricator
Space is provided on the bracket for the customer to attach a strip lubricator.
Feed stand
The feed is mounted on a unit standing directly on the floor.
A motorized height adjustment enables an adjustment range of approx. 300 mm.
Zig Zag traversing device
The following parameters are entered to calculate the cutting pattern:
· Band width
· Round diameter
· Step width
· Edge width
In addition, the system asks whether reverse operation is possible.
In reverse operation, the required cross travel is reduced, which leads to an increase in performance.
Alternatively, the punching pattern can also be entered freely.
Roller basket
A roller basket, which guides the belt, is located directly at the feed infeed.
